Presidents Report For October 2011

Hey Guys!

Well It has been busy month, I’ve kept very busy with work and personal life keeping me engaged every minute of the last few weeks, and its not looking like its going to slow done.

It has been a quiet month on the off-road front, there sadly isn’t much to report on, along with the fact that I was unable to attend the meeting sadly, due to being at a conference in Hamilton. The only thing of interest that happened was a trip to Minganui that was attended by a couple of our members run with the Taupo guys.

There is a lot coming up over the next couple months, for both drivers and spectators alike. There are a number of runs and events coming up that cater for everyone to enjoy. There is Nigels run happening which is always a great property, so fun is guaranteed as well as Robin’s camp over weekend coming up. There is also the club gymkhana happening, so if you want to come along and watch of give a hand let the guys know.

See you all soon.

Floyd

We also had 3 trophies to award at the AGM:

Member of the Year 2010-11: Jan Sayer for her fantastic organising of the mid-winter and Xmas dos, stepping into the secretary’s job when it fell vacant, and filling in for Paula to do the April and May magazines.
